Our Legacy
ALCHEMY’s story began in 2006, when Sergio Pizzagalli and his lifelong friend Tomás joined forces to establish INFOBA DMC Argentina, driven by a shared entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for hospitality, travel, and destination management.
With a background in hotel management and experience in leading hotels in Buenos Aires and Europe, Sergio gradually expanded the business beyond traditional destination management, leading to the creation of ALCHEMY DMC Argentina & Chile, focused on bespoke journeys, exclusive experiences, and exceptional events.
As the business evolved, Sergio was joined by Sebastián Caldano as a partner. With a strong background in finance and economics, Sebastián brought a complementary perspective on strategy, investment, and business development, strengthening the foundation for the company’s next stage of growth.
This evolution led to the creation of ALCHEMY Group of Companies — a hospitality holding bringing together businesses in travel, events, accommodation, gastronomy, and transportation under one ownership and a shared vision of hospitality.
Today, ALCHEMY Group of Companies connects people, places, and moments across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and the wider region, combining local expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and complementary capabilities to create distinctive experiences and opportunities across the hospitality ecosystem.
